A flexible training space for UK Debt Expert

Following the refurbishment of Carrington Dean’s upstairs offices, we returned to the building to create a dedicated training environment for UK Debt Expert. The brief was to carry a consistent Credit fix Group identity throughout the building while giving UK Debt Expert a space with its own distinct purpose and character.

Designed to help new team members become familiar with the brand, culture and ways of working, the finished space supports induction, e-learning and collaborative training. Also for this floor, there was chosen for an angled desk layout. Flexible tables, dedicated workstations, and mobile presentation facilities allow the layout to adapt to different learning formats, while a tiered breakout area provides a more informal setting for presentations and group discussions.

The design builds on the visual language established in the Carrington Dean office upstairs. Both spaces draw from the wider brand palette, but colour was used intentionally to distinguish their different functions. While the Carrington Dean office combines blue, green and purple, the UK Debt Expert training suite replaces purple with yellow to promote optimism, creativity, and mental stimulation, making it particularly valuable in spaces where innovative thinking and collaborative ideation are priorities.

Green was retained as a balanced, calming influence. Its connection to nature can help reduce anxiety and visual fatigue, making it particularly suited to an environment where employees may spend extended periods learning and working. Blue also continues through the scheme as a productivity-enhancing colour, helping to create a calm atmosphere that supports concentration, clear communication and efficient working.

These colours are expressed through the flooring, furniture, and bespoke wall graphics with cleverly integrated acoustics. Open shelving with integrated storage and planting creates subtle separation between activities without compromising light or visibility, while natural timber finishes bring warmth to the space.

The result is a welcoming, multipurpose learning environment that feels connected to the wider Creditfix workplace while remaining clearly tailored to UK Debt Expert. It gives new employees an engaging place to learn, collaborate and build confidence as they settle into their roles.
